Stat. tit. 63, § 63-941a","heading":"Custody of the body","body":"Upon completion of an investigation by the Office of the\n\nChief Medical Examiner, the body of the deceased shall be\n\nreleased to the person legally entitled to the custody\n\nthereof, or his or her representative, unless:\n\n1. A release is signed by the person legally entitled to the\n\ncustody of the body; or\n\n2. The attending physician has notified the Chief Medical\n\nExaminer of the State of Oklahoma, or his or her designee, of the\n\nneed for further investigation into the cause of death, or has\n\nnotified the appropriate district attorney of such need; or\n\n3.
