Stat. tit. 63, § 63-96","heading":"Authority to dissect, operate or experiment on dead bodies","body":"- Record of bodies received.\n\nAny and all schools, colleges, and persons who may be designated\n\nby the Anatomical Board shall be, and are, authorized to dissect,\n\noperate upon, examine and experiment upon bodies distributed to them\n\nby the Board's agent and no others. The schools, colleges and\n\ndesignated persons are also authorized to retain tissue from bodies\n\ndistributed to them and to donate the tissue to a person or entity\n\nfor the purpose of training a dog to search for human remains;\n\nprovided, any tissue donated for said purpose shall not be\n\ntransferred, sold or used for any other purpose than training dogs\n\nto search for human remains. If any human tissue that has been\n\ndonated for canine training is lost or stolen, the theft shall be\n\nreported to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation by the person\n\nor entity that received the donation. Such dissections, operations,\n\nexaminations and experiments shall not be considered as amenable\n\nunder any already existing laws for the prevention of mutilation of\n\ndead human bodies. Such persons, schools or colleges shall keep a\n\nrecord, sufficient for identification, of each body received from\n\nthe Anatomical Board or agent.
