Stat. tit. 63, § 63-984","heading":"Violations and penalties","body":"Every person, firm, corporation, association, and every agent or\n\nemployee of any such person, firm, corporation, or association, who\n\nviolates any of the provisions of this act, shall be guilty of a\n\nmisdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof, shall be liable to a fine\n\nof not more than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00), or imprisonment in\n\nthe county jail for a term not to exceed six (6) months, or both\n\nsuch fine and imprisonment; and in addition thereof, if such\n\nviolation results in physical or electrical contact with any\n\noverhead high voltage line or conductor, the person, firm,\n\ncorporation or association violating the provisions of this act,\n\nshall be liable to the owner or operator of such high voltage line\n\nor conductor for all damage to such facilities and for all liability\n\nincurred by such owner or operator as a result of any such\n\naccidental contact.","path":["OK Code","Title 63"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os63.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"7bce32de38980209efb583aee02e981b14c68141da68d8d1277de952b3b31cd2","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-983","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-985"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
