Stat. tit. 64, § 64-1006","heading":"Commissioners of the Land Office - Secretary - Employees","body":"The Governor of the State of Oklahoma shall be designated as\n\nchairman ex officio of the Commissioners of the Land Office. The\n\nCommissioners shall elect from their body a vice-chairman whose duty\n\nit shall be to act as chairman in the absence of the chairman or in\n\ncase of the failure, neglect, or refusal of the chairman to act.\n\nThe Secretary of the Land Office shall select for employment all\n\nemployees as may be deemed necessary and appropriate to properly\n\noperate the Land Office, except the General Counsel for the Land\n\nCommission who shall be selected by a majority of the Commission.\n\nThe Commissioners, by a majority vote, may remove the Secretary\n\nof the Land Office and the General Counsel of the Land Office.
