No appraiser for the Commissioners of the Land Office shall:\n\n1. Directly or indirectly solicit or accept any compensation,\n\ngift, loan, entertainment, favor or service given for the purpose of\n\ninfluencing the appraiser in the discharge of the official duties of\n\nthe appraiser;\n\n2. Use the official position of the appraiser to solicit or\n\nsecure special privileges or exemptions for the appraiser or others,\n\nexcept as may be provided by law;\n\n3. Disclose or offer to disclose confidential information\n\nacquired by reason of the official position of the appraiser to any\n\nperson, group or others not entitled to receive confidential\n\ninformation, nor use the information for personal gain or benefit;\n\n4. Receive or solicit any compensation that would impair\n\nindependence of judgment for the services provided as an appraiser\n\nfor the Commissioners of the Land Office, from any source other than\n\nthe Commissioners, unless otherwise provided by law; or\n\n5. Accept or solicit other employment which would impair\n\nefficiency or independence of judgment in the performance of the\n\npublic duties of the appraiser.\n\nB. Any appraiser violating this section shall be deemed guilty\n\nof a misdemeanor.\n\nC.
