Stat. tit. 64, § 64-1039","heading":"Checks, warrants or vouchers - Remaining unpaid for three","body":"years.\n\nAll checks, vouchers or warrants heretofore or hereafter issued\n\nby the Commissioners of the Land Office in payment of any obligation\n\nof the state which shall for any cause remain unpaid and outstanding\n\nfor a period of three (3) years shall be canceled. Where the\n\nidentity of the account originally charged cannot now be\n\nascertained, the amount of such cancellation shall revert to and be\n\ncredited to the common school fund of the state.
