Stat. tit. 64, § 64-1045","heading":"Cancellation of certificate - Redemption","body":"\n\nWhenever a certificate for the sale of any of said lands has\n\nbeen canceled, it shall be the duty of the Commissioners of the Land\n\nOffice to notify the clerk of the county in which such lands are\n\nlocated of said cancellation and thereafter such lands shall not be\n\nlisted for taxation but in the event of the redemption of any such\n\nlands the party making such redemption shall pay as taxes and in\n\naddition to all other charges an amount equal to the taxes last\n\nlevied thereon for each year such land was not listed for taxation,\n\ntogether with such interest and penalty as would have been charged\n\nif the same had been regularly listed and taxed.\n\nR.L. 1910, § 7149.
