Stat. tit. 64, § 64-1052","heading":"Appraisement","body":"Before any lands under the jurisdiction and control of the\n\nCommissioners of the Land Office, covered by preference right leases\n\nand the improvements located on the land are owned by the lessees,\n\nshall be offered for sale and sold, the Commissioners of the Land\n\nOffice shall cause the same to be appraised by three disinterested\n\nappraisers, who are nonresidents of the county in which the land is\n\nsituated, to be selected by the Secretary. The appraisers, before\n\nentering upon their duties, shall take and subscribe the oath\n\nrequired of state officers.
