Stat. tit. 64, § 64-1072","heading":"Contracts authorized","body":"The Commissioners of the Land Office shall be, and they are\n\nhereby authorized to execute supplemental contracts to lessees on\n\nall lease contracts embracing more than thirty thousand (30,000)\n\nacres in one body without submitting same to bids for the renewal of\n\nsaid leases, providing that if oil and gas, or either of them, are\n\nbeing produced on said tracts of land in paying quantities at the\n\nexpiration of said leases, that then, and in that event, said leases\n\nshall be extended for so long a period of time as gas and oil, or\n\neither of them, shall be produced on said tracts of land in paying\n\nquantities; provided, however, that drilling operations shall be\n\ncommenced within six (6) months from the date of passage of this\n\nresolution, and shall be prosecuted with diligence.","path":["OK Code","Title 64"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os64.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"9ea2e454afa3dda181f4bc363068ff624bd7cd192232bbbac0f9440e3ea1d02e","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-64-64-1071","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-64-64-1073"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
