Stat. tit. 65, § 65-155","heading":"Officers - Meetings - Quorums - Contracts","body":"The commission shall elect its chairman from the appointed\n\nmembers and fill such other offices as its bylaws may establish.\n\nThe term of the chairman shall be one (1) year. The commission\n\nshall hold at least four meetings each year and at other times as\n\ndeemed necessary by the Commission, and all meetings shall be open\n\nto the public. It shall adopt rules for the transaction of business\n\nand keep a record of its functions and activities, which record\n\nshall be a public record. Six commissioners shall constitute a\n\nquorum for the purpose of conducting business and exercising the\n\npowers of the commission. The commission may establish a schedule\n\nof fees to cover various services rendered and may also contract\n\nwith other persons and agencies for such services as it may require,\n\nincluding private legal counsel and private auditing service, within\n\nthe limits of its appropriations, and may incur necessary expenses.\n\nThe commission may contract for, receive, and utilize any grants or\n\nother financial assistance from the United States or from any other\n\nsource, public or private, in furtherance of its functions; may\n\nincur necessary expenses in obtaining said grants and/or financial\n\nassistance, within the limits of its appropriations; and shall\n\nreceive and disburse such grants and/or other financial assistance\n\nin such manner as herein provided.","path":["OK Code","Title 65"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os65.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"fde6d59d0dadd5df9a38a0d262711a69df5edfae71d89b987bed2acefcfabddc","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-65-65-154","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-65-65-156"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
