Stat. tit. 65, § 65-4-107","heading":"Financing","body":"Library systems are hereby authorized and empowered to receive\n\nand allocate funds for establishment, development and maintenance of\n\nlibrary facilities and services through special library tax levies\n\nas hereinafter provided and other funds, including appropriations\n\nfrom city, town and county general funds, state and federal grants-\n\nin-aid, and other public and private funds. All such funds received\n\nand appropriated may be used for library services throughout the\n\nlibrary district.\n\n(a) The governing boards of cities, towns, counties, and library\n\nsystems established by vote of the people, as authorized, may submit\n\nto a vote of the people special tax levies of any tax or taxes which\n\nare or may be authorized for levying in and by cities, towns,\n\ncounties and library system districts.\n\n(b) The initial financing of any library system established\n\nunder this act shall be approved by the Oklahoma Department of\n\nLibraries Board.","path":["OK Code","Title 65"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os65.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"0eff52ff12edae6dc79e9aa7d0a8da5aab5ac92f2d9134a42e66b6c71b47cb63","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-65-65-4-106","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-65-65-4-107.1"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
