The Oklahoma Department of Libraries is hereby authorized\n\nand directed to establish at the earliest possible date an automated\n\ndata processing and information retrieval system and a statewide\n\ninformation network. The automated data processing and information\n\nretrieval system shall be a part of and may utilize the equipment\n\nand services of the Oklahoma Government Telecommunications Network\n\n(OGTN) created in Section 1 of this act, when available.\n\nB. The automated data processing and information retrieval\n\nsystem shall include the following elements and operations as\n\nrapidly as circumstances permit:\n\n1. Legislative reference and research, including current\n\nlegislative data;\n\n2. Data base of the holdings of Oklahoma libraries;\n\n3. Statistical information and reports of state institutions;\n\n4. Rules and regulations of state agencies;\n\n5. Laws of the state;\n\n6. Public documents of Oklahoma, the United States and other\n\ngovernments;\n\n7. Opinions of the Attorney General;\n\n8. General reference and research;\n\n9. Oklahoma information center;\n\n10. Legal reference and research;\n\n11. Archives and records of the state;\n\n12. Printed catalog of Oklahoma State Library Collections; and\n\n13.
