Stat. tit. 66, § 66-146","heading":"Notice to railroads","body":"Whenever the owner or occupant of any tract of land desires to\n\nconstruct a fence as provided in the preceding section, he shall\n\ngive written notice of his intention to the railroad company upon\n\nwhose line such tract is situated, by personal service upon the\n\nagent of said company at the station within this state, nearest to\n\nsuch tract of land, giving in said notice a description of said\n\nland, and it shall be the duty of the railroad company to construct\n\nand complete its portion of such fence within sixty (60) days after\n\nthe service of such notice: Provided, that if such owner or\n\noccupant fails to construct his portion of such fence, then the\n\nrailroad company shall not be required to construct such fence.","path":["OK Code","Title 66"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os66.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"7d23cb98a6bd55d23c43a0f969ed83ca94a0285823af31fa05823bb01855eb1f","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-66-66-145","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-66-66-147"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
