Stat. tit. 66, § 66-161","heading":"Extension of road into state","body":"Any railroad corporation chartered by or organized under the\n\nlaws of the United States or any state or territory, whose\n\nconstructed railroad shall reach or intersect the boundary line of\n\nthis state at any point, may extend its railroad into this state\n\nfrom any such point or points to any place or places within the\n\nstate, and may build branches from any point on such extension.\n\nBefore making such extension or building any such branch road, such\n\ncorporation shall, by resolution of its directors, to be entered in\n\nthe record of its proceedings, designate the route of such proposed\n\nextension or branch in the manner provided in Section 1376, and file\n\na copy of such record, certified by the president and secretary, in\n\nthe office of the Corporation Commission, and cause the same to be\n\nrecorded as provided in said Section 1376.
