Stat. tit. 66, § 66-167","heading":"Foreign corporations - Increase of capital stock","body":"Every railroad corporation organized under the laws of any other\n\nstate or territory or the United States, that shall have within the\n\nthree (3) years prior to the taking effect of the Constitution of\n\nthis state, complied with the laws of the Territory of Oklahoma or\n\nIndian Territory to authorize such corporation to transact business\n\nwithin the Territory of Oklahoma or of the Indian Territory, or\n\neither or both of them, and shall have complied with the provisions\n\nof the preceding section, whose chartered line or route shall pass\n\nthrough other states or territories, or other states and\n\nterritories, and the Territory of Oklahoma or Indian Territory, or\n\neither or both of them, and the capital stock of which, as provided\n\nin its articles of incorporation, was or is insufficient to\n\nconstruct its contemplated railroad and which has been, or is, in\n\norder to construct the same, required by necessity to increase its\n\ncapital stock, and may increase its capital stock under the laws of\n\nthe state or territory of its creation, may file with the Secretary\n\nof State of this state a certified copy of the proceedings of its\n\nboard of directors and stockholders authorizing such increase, and a\n\ncertificate of its chief engineer, under oath, showing the estimated\n\ncost of its main line, sidetracks, and permanent improvements in the\n\nstate, and such corporation shall pay to the Secretary of State one-\n\ntenth of one percent (1/10 of 1%) of such estimated cost, and such\n\nother fees as required by law, without being required to pay to the\n\nState of Oklahoma the fee required under Section 3253.","path":["OK Code","Title 66"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os66.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"5ef59ec1988ce1c19e53191946ac3683530b2361d9587f9d378f66528e2be9ed","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-66-66-166","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-66-66-168"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
