Stat. tit. 66, § 66-184","heading":"Company may lease or sell","body":"Any railroad company, owning any railroad in this state, may\n\nsell or lease the whole or any part of its railroad and branches\n\nconstructed or to be constructed, or any interest therein, together\n\nwith all the property, rights, privileges, and franchises thereto\n\npertaining, to any other railroad company, subject to the provisions\n\nof Article 9 of the Constitution: Provided, that no such sale or\n\nlease shall be entered into unless the line of railroad so sold or\n\nleased shall, when constructed, form a continuous line of railroad\n\nwith the road of the company purchasing or leasing the same, either\n\nby direct connection therewith, or through an intermediate line or\n\nlines, constructed, or to be constructed, which such purchasing or\n\nleasing company shall have the right, by contract or otherwise, when\n\ncompleted, to use or operate, and any railroad company which shall\n\nso purchase or lease a railroad or railroads in this state shall\n\npossess and enjoy, within this state all the rights, powers,\n\nprivileges, and franchises conferred by the laws of this state upon\n\na railroad corporation formed thereunder.","path":["OK Code","Title 66"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os66.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"1f4aff35be77ed46a70b4c3e6761b6bf62c54b8ca8360efae440b8d7203f6017","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-66-66-183","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-66-66-190"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
