Stat. tit. 66, § 66-51","heading":"Power to enter upon lands","body":"Every railroad corporation incorporated under this article, and\n\nany railroad corporation authorized to construct, operate or\n\nmaintain a railroad within this state, has power and is authorized\n\nto enter upon any land for the purpose of examining and surveying\n\nits railroad, and to take, hold and appropriate so much real estate\n\nas may be necessary for the location, construction and convenient\n\nuse of its road, including all necessary grounds for buildings,\n\nstations, workshops, depots, machine shops, switches, sidetracks,\n\nturntables, snow defences and water stations; all material for the\n\nconstruction of such road and its appurtenances, and the right-of-\n\nway over adjacent land sufficient to enable such corporation to\n\nconstruct and repair its road and the right to conduct water to its\n\nwater stations, and to construct and maintain proper drains, and may\n\nobtain the right to such real estate by purchase or condemnation in\n\nthe manner provided by the law.","path":["OK Code","Title 66"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os66.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"8732f723cb164f82bb778c10b611de926ac232c9f42e0cdb4b47d52a63ed34f2","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-66-66-334","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-66-66-52"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
