Stat. tit. 67, § 67-15","heading":"Restoration of plat or map","body":"Whenever the public record of any plat or map, which is required\n\nby law to be kept by the register of deeds, has been lost, injured\n\nor destroyed by fire or otherwise, it shall be the duty of the\n\ndistrict attorney of the county in which such injury, loss or\n\ndestruction has occurred, forthwith to file in the district court an\n\ninformation setting forth substantially the fact of such injury,\n\nloss or destruction, with the circumstances attending the same, as\n\nnear as may be; and thereupon the clerk of such court shall cause\n\nsuch information to be published in full in one or more newspapers\n\npublished in such county, for the period of four (4) weeks, together\n\nwith a notice, addressed to \"All whom it may concern,\" that the\n\ncourt will, at a term therein designated, to be held not less than\n\nfour (4) weeks from the first publication of such information and\n\nnotice, proceed to hear and determine the matters in said\n\ninformation set forth, and will take testimony for the purpose of\n\nreproducing and reestablishing such records of maps and plats as the\n\ncourt shall find to be injured, lost or destroyed.","path":["OK Code","Title 67"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os67.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"c23b8f510b6dd0a4e3c07d4bf1083fcee5d029b37577d82a6cf8d9c5b0041799","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-67-67-14","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-67-67-16"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
