Stat. tit. 67, § 67-16","heading":"Hearing - Filing and recording","body":"Upon such publication being made, all persons interested shall\n\nbe deemed defendants, and may appear in person or by counsel, and be\n\nheard touching such proceedings. If the court shall be satisfied\n\nthat any public record of maps and plats has been injured, lost or\n\ndestroyed, an order to that effect shall be entered of record, and\n\nthereupon the court shall proceed to take testimony for the purpose\n\nor reproducing and reestablishing the record so injured, lost or\n\ndestroyed. The proceedings may be continued from time to time,\n\nwhether in term or not, and orders and decrees shall be made as to\n\neach map or plat separately. The clerk shall cause all maps and\n\nplats adjudged by the court to be correct copies of the records\n\ninjured, lost or destroyed, as often and as soon as they are so\n\nadjudged, to be filed in the office of the register of deeds, with a\n\ncertified copy of the order or judgment of the court in the premises\n\nattached thereto, and recorded in a book to be provided for that\n\npurpose.
