Stat. tit. 67, § 67-20","heading":"Restoration of records by means of abstracts","body":"It shall be the duty of the judge of the county court, or the\n\njudge of the district court of any county in this state, in which\n\nany public records have been lost or destroyed to examine into the\n\nstate of the records in such county, and in case he finds any\n\nabstracts, copies, minutes or extracts from said records existing\n\nafter such destruction as aforesaid, and finds that said abstracts,\n\ncopies, minutes or extracts were fairly made before the destruction\n\nof the records by any person, in the ordinary course of business,\n\nand that they contain a material and substantial part of said\n\nrecords, and, that such abstracts, copies, minutes and extracts tend\n\nto show a connected chain of title to the land in said county, the\n\nsaid judge shall certify the facts found by him in respect to such\n\nabstracts, copies, minutes and extracts, and said judge, shall cause\n\nall evidence produced as to said abstract books to be reduced to\n\nwriting, and shall cause all such evidence to be spread of record,\n\nas a part of the order of said court.","path":["OK Code","Title 67"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os67.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"1bbbe14c31335f35b68258adb3aef8e34f597317e1d019e248da6c430ce46dcc","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-67-67-2","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-67-67-201"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
