Stat. tit. 67, § 67-214","heading":"Personnel - Expenditure of funds - Contract for records","body":"management - Bond.\n\n(a) When a state agency institutes a records management program\n\nunder the provisions of this act it is hereby authorized and\n\ndirected to furnish the Administrator with as many persons in its\n\nemploy as he considers necessary to carry on the program, and such\n\nemployees shall be under his direction and supervision while\n\nperforming the duties connected with the execution of the provisions\n\nof this act, and the agency is furthermore authorized and directed\n\nto expend amounts from any funds under its control that the\n\nAdministrator requests for the purpose of establishing and\n\nmaintaining a records management program in the agency.\n\n(b) In the furtherance of a records management program a state\n\nagency may contract, with the approval of the Administrator, with a\n\nreputable records management organization, having at least five (5)\n\nyears of experience in the techniques of records management\n\noperations, for the establishment of a records management program in\n\nthe agency and may pay out sums for this purpose from any funds\n\nunder its control. Such organization shall give a performance bond\n\nwith good and sufficient sureties, payable to the State of Oklahoma,\n\nfor a sum not less than the amount of the contract and the bond\n\nshall be approved by the Attorney General.
