Stat. tit. 67, § 67-3","heading":"Restoration of lost probate records","body":"In case of the destruction by fire or otherwise of the records,\n\nor any part thereof, of any district court, the judge of such court\n\nmay proceed upon his own motion, or upon application in writing of\n\nany party in interest, to restore the records, papers and\n\nproceedings of his court relating to the estate of deceased persons,\n\nincluding recorded wills and wills probated or filed for probate in\n\nsaid court; and for the purpose of restoring said records, wills,\n\npapers or proceedings, or any part thereof, may cause citations to\n\nbe issued to any and all parties to be designated by him, and may\n\ncompel the attendance in court of any witnesses whose testimony may\n\nbe necessary to the establishment of any such record or part\n\nthereof, and the production of any and all written or documentary\n\nevidence which may be by him deemed necessary in determining the\n\ntrue import and effect of the original record, will, paper or other\n\ndocument belonging to the files of said court; and may make such\n\norders and decrees establishing said original record, will, paper,\n\ndocument or proceeding, or the substance thereof, as to him shall\n\nseem just and proper; and such judge may make all such rules and\n\nregulations governing the said proceedings for the restoration of\n\nthe record, will, paper, document or proceeding pertaining to said\n\ncourt, as in his judgment will best secure the rights and protect\n\nthe interests of all parties concerned.","path":["OK Code","Title 67"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os67.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"b92342428a1299a8cd87779ee37c25cff7525f705f30aca48790cc8ace439c06","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-67-67-256","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-67-67-301"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
