Stat. tit. 67, § 67-45","heading":"Opposition to petition","body":"Any person interested may oppose any such petition, and file his\n\ndemurrer or answer thereto on or before the third day of the term of\n\ncourt named in said publication notice, unless the time be extended\n\nby order of court, and may also file a cross petition if he or she\n\ndesires to do so. Said answer shall admit, confess and avoid, or\n\ndeny all the material allegations of the petition, and shall, except\n\nwhen made by guardian ad litem, be verified by the affidavit either\n\nof the respondent or his agent, in the same manner as above required\n\nin cases of the petition.
