Stat. tit. 67, § 67-81","heading":"Copies of old records for new counties","body":"\n\nThe board of county commissioners of any county, created in\n\nwhole or in part out of any county or counties, of the Territory of\n\nOklahoma, or to which territory taken from any other county may have\n\nbeen attached, is hereby authorized and empowered to demand and\n\nsecure the original taxrolls, or a duly authenticated copy of the\n\nsame as herein provided of all of the property situated in all new\n\ncounties formerly a part of the old counties, and to copy or\n\ntranscribe, or to make contracts to procure copies or transcripts in\n\nsubstantial record books such as are required for said instruments,\n\nthe same to be furnished by said counties so transcribing or copying\n\nthe same at a rate not to exceed five cents ($0.05) per folio, of\n\nthe records and government field notes of any county so divided, or\n\nfrom which territory may have been taken necessary to complete the\n\nrecords, so that the said counties may have a complete record of any\n\nsuch county or territory so affected. The party making such\n\ntranscript or copy of records and files, shall verify and certify\n\nunder oath to the accuracy of any such copy, copies or transcripts,\n\nand such copy, copies or transcripts, so verified shall, after\n\napproval by the board of county commissioners of said new county be\n\ntreated for all purposes as the original records of such county.\n\nOne certificate attached to each separate volume of such records or\n\nany portion thereof, identifying the same by proper recitals, to be\n\nmade under the direction of the board of county commissioners, shall\n\nbe deemed for all purposes a sufficient authentication of such\n\nrecord.","path":["OK Code","Title 67"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os67.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"149b01cbd089c3db5d326ce85268161841d7493487d02fca648f9b3d795940cc","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-67-67-63","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-67-67-82"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
