The Tax Commission shall employ a Chief Attorney to be\n\ndesignated \"General Counsel\" and other attorneys each to be\n\ndesignated \"attorney\" who shall be the legal advisors for the\n\nCommission and are authorized to appear for and represent the\n\nCommission in any and all litigation that may arise in the discharge\n\nof its duties.\n\nB. The General Counsel or the district attorney shall initiate\n\ncriminal actions for violations of the tax laws of this state in the\n\ndistrict court of the county in which the defendant resides or\n\nmaintains a place of business. The attorneys for the Tax Commission\n\nmay prosecute such criminal actions or may, upon request of a\n\ndistrict attorney, appear and assist in the prosecution of such\n\nactions initiated by the district attorney.\n\nC. For purposes of this section, the term \"tax laws of this\n\nstate\" means any law of the State of Oklahoma which levies, imposes,\n\nprovides for administration of, or in any way relates to a tax, fee,\n\nor revenue raising property which is collected by or required to be\n\ndeposited with the Commission.\n\nD.
