Stat. tit. 68, § 68-105.1","heading":"Designation of peace officer to conduct personnel","body":"investigations and background checks.\n\nThe Oklahoma Tax Commission shall have the authority to\n\ndesignate as a peace officer one (1) employee in the position of\n\nDirector of Safety and Security whose duties include conducting\n\npersonnel investigations, background checks, and assisting with\n\nsecurity of Oklahoma Tax Commission facilities. An employee\n\ndesignated as a peace officer pursuant to this section shall be\n\ncertified pursuant to Section 3311 of Title 70 of the Oklahoma\n\nStatutes and have the authority to review information contained in\n\nthe files of federal, state, or local law enforcement officials in\n\norder to conduct the investigations prescribed by this section.
