Stat. tit. 68, § 68-1354.18","heading":"Streamlined Sales and Use Tax Administration Act -","body":"Duties and authority of Tax Commission - Entry into Streamlined\n\nSales and Use Tax Agreement.\n\nSubject to the provisions of Section 1354.20 of this title, the\n\nOklahoma Tax Commission is authorized and directed to enter into the\n\nStreamlined Sales and Use Tax Agreement with one or more states to\n\nsimplify and modernize sales and use tax administration in order to\n\nsubstantially reduce the burden of tax compliance for all sellers\n\nand for all types of commerce. In furtherance of the Agreement, the\n\nTax Commission is authorized to act jointly with other states that\n\nare members of the Agreement to establish standards for\n\ncertification of a certified service provider and certified\n\nautomated system and establish performance standards for multistate\n\nsellers.\n\nThe Tax Commission is further authorized to take other actions\n\nreasonably required to implement the provisions set forth in the\n\nStreamlined Sales and Use Tax Administration Act, including, but not\n\nlimited to, the promulgation of rules and the joint procurement,\n\nwith other member states, of goods and services in furtherance of\n\nthe cooperative agreement.\n\nThe Tax Commission or the Tax Commission’s designee is\n\nauthorized to represent this state before the other states that are\n\nsignatories to the Agreement.","path":["OK Code","Title 68"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os68.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"c8dc632fc22d500c9b3e2825cf2bfee468e5aab30297709ed32623cd85cd9c4f","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-68-68-1354.17","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-68-68-1354.19"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
