Stat. tit. 68, § 68-1625","heading":"License fees","body":"The following license fees shall be due and payable on or before\n\nMarch 1 of each year to the Office of the State Fire Marshal. Any\n\nlicensed manufacturer, distributor or wholesaler permitted to sell\n\nfireworks at wholesale or retail, pursuant to Section 1623 of this\n\ntitle, may apply for a license.\n\n1. A license fee of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) annually\n\nshall be charged for the license to do business within this state as\n\na manufacturer. Provided, no manufacturer's license shall be issued\n\nwithout:\n\na. proof of inspection by the State Fire Marshal pursuant\n\nto Section 1633 of this title, and\n\nb. proof of workers' compensation coverage pursuant to\n\nthe provisions of Title 85 of the Oklahoma Statutes.\n\n2. A license fee of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) annually\n\nshall be charged for the license to do business within this state as\n\na distributor.\n\n3. A license fee of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) annually\n\nshall be charged for the license to do business within this state as\n\na wholesaler.\n\n4. Any person operating a retail location where fireworks are\n\nsold directly to the consumer shall be required to purchase a retail\n\nfireworks license. The retail license fee shall be Ten Dollars\n\n($10.00) annually and may be purchased from any licensed wholesaler,\n\nmanufacturer or distributor. These serially numbered licenses shall\n\nbe made available at any time to the licensed wholesalers,\n\nmanufacturers or distributors in books of twenty licenses to a book.\n\nRetail licenses which are unsold may be exchanged for new licenses.\n\nAny person purchasing a retail fireworks license pursuant to this\n\nparagraph shall, at the time of purchasing such license, sign an\n\naffidavit attesting to the fact that the name, mailing address and\n\ntelephone number of the purchaser as it appears on such license is\n\ncorrect and that the purchaser operates a retail location where\n\nfireworks are sold directly to the consumer. Said affidavit shall\n\nbe an integral but easily detachable part of the application form\n\nfor a retail fireworks license. Any person who signs said affidavit\n\nas required by this paragraph when such person knows that it is not\n\ntrue, upon conviction, shall be guilty of the felony of perjury, a\n\nClass D3 felony offense, and shall be punished by imprisonment as\n\nprovided for in subsections B through F of Section 20P of Title 21\n\nof the Oklahoma Statutes.\n\nAny person engaged in more than one of the licensed activities\n\nprovided in this section shall only pay one fee to be based on the\n\nclassification requiring the higher fee.","path":["OK Code","Title 68"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os68.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"77bbf706f484dc37e9abb75674374d687d2144ee76905267f6be8112d6178a4e","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-68-68-1624.1","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-68-68-1625.1"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
