Stat. tit. 68, § 68-1633","heading":"Inspection and certification of Display Fireworks","body":"facilities.\n\nNo person shall engage in the business of manufacturing Display\n\nFireworks without first requesting the State Fire Marshal to conduct\n\na fire and safety inspection and receiving certification that a\n\nsatisfactory inspection was conducted. All manufacturers of Display\n\nFireworks shall be required to comply with the standards promulgated\n\nby the National Fire Protection Agency, Section 1124-Code for\n\nManufacture, Transportation and Storage of Fireworks.\n\nUpon written request of a Display Fireworks manufacturer, the\n\nState Fire Marshal shall, within ten (10) days, conduct a fire and\n\nsafety inspection and shall, upon satisfactory inspection, issue\n\ncertification of the inspection. Thereafter, the State Fire Marshal\n\nshall conduct a fire and safety inspection at least once every six\n\n(6) months.\n\nWhenever the State Fire Marshal shall find any violation of\n\nNFPA-1124 which would endanger persons or property, the State Fire\n\nMarshal shall immediately order the manufacturing facility closed\n\nuntil such time as the violations are remedied and a new inspection\n\nand certification takes place.\n\nAny person engaging in the business of manufacturing Display\n\nFireworks without current certification of a satisfactory fire and\n\nsafety inspection or any person refusing to comply with the State\n\nFire Marshal's order to close a Display Fireworks manufacturing\n\nfacility shall, upon conviction, be guilty of a misdemeanor and be\n\npunished by imprisonment in the county jail not exceeding one (1)\n\nyear or by a fine not exceeding Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) or\n\nboth such fine and imprisonment.\n\nAny person manufacturing Display Fireworks on the effective date\n\nof this act shall, within ninety (90) days, be licensed and\n\ninspected pursuant to this act.","path":["OK Code","Title 68"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os68.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"a7cac8412f0809dbe75e3902f7eb9d477336acc1d9b4fe03c3e7baee0dca2160","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-68-68-1631","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-68-68-1634"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
