Stat. tit. 68, § 68-1806","heading":"Proceeds of tax, how applied","body":"All monies, funds and revenues arising, collected, received, by\n\nthe Oklahoma Tax Commission pursuant to the provisions of this act\n\nshall be applied as follows:\n\n(a) Five percent (5%) of all monies collected under the\n\nprovisions of this act shall be paid to the State Treasurer and\n\nplaced to the credit of the General Revenue Fund of the State\n\nTreasury.\n\n(b) (1) Except as provided in paragraph (2) of this\n\nsubsection, the remaining ninety-five percent (95%) of\n\nall monies collected under this act shall be\n\napportioned and paid each month by the Oklahoma Tax\n\nCommission to the school treasurers or school\n\ndistricts of the respective counties in which the\n\nremitting cooperative owns and operates property, as\n\ndefined in Section 1804 of this title, according to\n\nthe proportion which the number of miles of electrical\n\ndistribution lines of such cooperative in such school\n\ndistrict bears to the total number of miles of such\n\nlines owned and operated by such cooperative within\n\nthe state.\n\n(2) Beginning July 1, 1991, if the amendment to Section\n\n12a of Article X of the Constitution of the State of\n\nOklahoma contained in Enrolled House Joint Resolution\n\nNo. 1005 of the 1st Extraordinary Session of the 42nd\n\nOklahoma Legislature is approved by the people, the\n\nremaining ninety-five percent (95%) of all monies\n\ncollected under this act shall be remitted to the\n\nState Treasurer to be deposited in the Common School\n\nFund.","path":["OK Code","Title 68"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os68.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"5672c3b7877ea7a0a662f3d044fbd0499ec0a35aad8aa4b42fd16b4a1477b464","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-68-68-1805","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-68-68-1807"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
