Any person who shall knowingly give a false or bogus check,\n\nas defined in this section, of a value less than Five Hundred\n\nDollars ($500.00) in payment or remittance of any taxes, fees,\n\npenalties, or interest levied pursuant to any state tax law shall\n\nbe, upon conviction, guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by a fine\n\nnot to exceed One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00), or by imprisonment\n\nin the county jail for a term of not more than one (1) year, or by\n\nboth such fine and imprisonment. If the value of the false or bogus\n\ncheck referred to in this subsection is Five Hundred Dollars\n\n($500.00) or more, such person shall be, upon conviction, guilty of\n\na Class C2 felony offense punishable by a fine not to exceed Five\n\nThousand Dollars ($5,000.00), or by imprisonment as provided for in\n\nsubsections B through F of Section 20M of Title 21 of the Oklahoma\n\nStatutes, or by both such fine and imprisonment.\n\nB. Any person who shall knowingly give two or more false or\n\nbogus checks, the total sum of which is Five Hundred Dollars\n\n($500.00) or more, even though each separate instrument is written\n\nfor less than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00), in payment or\n\nremittance of any taxes, fees, penalties, or interest levied\n\npursuant to any state tax law shall be, upon conviction, guilty of a\n\nClass C2 felony offense punishable by a fine not to exceed Five\n\nThousand Dollars ($5,000.00) or by imprisonment as provided for in\n\nsubsections B through F of Section 20M of Title 21 of the Oklahoma\n\nStatutes, or by both such fine and imprisonment.\n\nC. For purposes of this section, the term “false or bogus check\n\nor checks” shall include any check or order which is not honored on\n\naccount of insufficient funds of the maker to pay same, or because\n\nthe check or order was drawn on a closed account or on a nonexistent\n\naccount. The making, drawing, uttering or delivering of a check or\n\norder, the payment of which is refused by the drawee, shall be prima\n\nfacie evidence of the knowledge of insufficient funds, a closed\n\naccount, or a nonexistent account with such bank or other depository\n\ndrawee.
