Stat. tit. 68, § 68-251","heading":"Filing petitions and applications for collection of","body":"delinquent taxes by mail.\n\nNotwithstanding the provisions of any statute or court rule to\n\nthe contrary the Tax Commission may file petitions and applications\n\nin the various district courts of this state to initiate actions\n\nauthorized in Section 201 et seq. of Title 68 of the Oklahoma\n\nStatutes, for collection of delinquent state taxes by mailing same\n\nto the respective court clerk of the district courts of this state.\n\nUpon receipt of such petition or application, the court clerk shall\n\ncause hearings to be set as required by law, and shall cause the\n\nnecessary summons or notice to be issued and served by sheriff or\n\nmail, as set forth in the summons or notice.","path":["OK Code","Title 68"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os68.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"023e5fdeb9b1ed3fee17facf68237063206b8f6844913c220a072ada0f315a6c","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-68-68-250","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-68-68-252"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
