Stat. tit. 68, § 68-3022","heading":"Municipal budgets and levies - Filing - Notice","body":"\n\nAfter the officers of the several municipal subdivisions of the\n\nstate, constituting the budget making bodies of such subdivisions,\n\nincluding counties, cities, towns and school districts, shall have\n\nmade and filed their budgets as required by existing laws with the\n\ncounty clerks, and after advertisement as now required by law, the\n\nexcise boards shall meet from time to time thereafter until the\n\nState Board of Equalization shall have reported the valuation of\n\npublic service corporations and utilities, together with the\n\nequalized valuation of all other property, to the county, and shall\n\nthen proceed to pass on appropriations and make levies for all such\n\nmunicipal subdivisions as now provided by law, and shall file a copy\n\nof all budgets with the levies made thereon, with the State Auditor\n\nand Inspector, and one copy with the county clerks of the respective\n\ncounties, and the county clerk shall immediately thereafter publish\n\nnotice for one time, in some newspaper of general circulation in the\n\ncounty, that such budgets and levies are on file for the inspection\n\nof any citizen.\n\nWithin three (3) days after the filing of any such budgets and\n\nlevies with the State Auditor and Inspector, the State Auditor and\n\nInspector shall give notice by mail of the fact and date of such\n\nfiling to any taxpayer who shall have filed written request\n\ntherefor.","path":["OK Code","Title 68"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os68.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"17101fa2c3f329604cd7e17e53655179e0070f66c22928a784fd8bc767ebe8ad","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-68-68-3021","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-68-68-3023"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
