Stat. tit. 68, § 68-3152","heading":"Duties mandatory - Penalty for failure to perform","body":"The provisions of this article relating to the duties of various\n\nofficials, and the time within which such duties shall be performed,\n\nare hereby declared to be mandatory, and the failure of any such\n\nofficial, board or commission, to perform the duties prescribed\n\nherein, within the time specified, shall subject them to removal\n\nfrom office, for neglect of duty; and they shall receive no\n\nremuneration, compensation or salary for their services, after the\n\ntime herein fixed for the performance of such duties and until the\n\nsame shall have been completed or performed.
