Stat. tit. 68, § 68-360.3","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in the Master Settlement Agreement Complementary Act:\n\n1. \"Brand family\" means all styles of cigarettes sold under the\n\nsame trademark and differentiated from one another by means of\n\nadditional modifiers or descriptors, including, but not limited to,\n\n\"menthol\", \"lights\", \"kings\", and \"100s\", and includes any brand\n\nname alone or in conjunction with any other word, trademark, logo,\n\nsymbol, motto, selling message, recognizable pattern of colors, or\n\nany other indicia of product identification identical or similar to,\n\nor identifiable with, a previously known brand of cigarettes;\n\n2. \"Cigarette\" has the same meaning as that term is defined in\n\nSection 600.22 of Title 37 of the Oklahoma Statutes;\n\n3. \"Tax Commission\" means the Oklahoma Tax Commission;\n\n4. \"Master Settlement Agreement\" has the same meaning as in\n\nSection 600.22 of Title 37 of the Oklahoma Statutes;\n\n5. \"Nonparticipating manufacturer\" means any tobacco product\n\nmanufacturer as defined in Section 600.22 of Title 37 of the\n\nOklahoma Statutes that is not a participating manufacturer;\n\n6. \"Participating manufacturer\" has the meaning given that term\n\nin Section II(jj) of the Master Settlement Agreement as defined in\n\nSection 600.22 of Title 37 of the Oklahoma Statutes and all\n\namendments to the Master Settlement Agreement;\n\n7. \"Qualified escrow fund\" has the same meaning as that term is\n\ndefined in Section 600.22 of Title 37 of the Oklahoma Statutes;\n\n8. \"Stamping agent\" means any entity that is authorized under\n\nsubsection A of Section 304 of Title 68 of the Oklahoma Statutes to\n\naffix any tax stamps issued by the Oklahoma Tax Commission to\n\npackages of cigarettes, or any entity authorized pursuant to Section\n\n415 of Title 68 of the Oklahoma Statutes to pay to the Oklahoma Tax\n\nCommission any tobacco products tax; and\n\n9. \"Units sold\" has the same meaning as that term is defined in\n\nSection 600.22 of Title 37 of the Oklahoma Statutes.","path":["OK Code","Title 68"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os68.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"f13f83e54b64aeabc5469b8843bbf55c28bcf83e9eabdcecbc3c51d5ddc49062","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-68-68-360.2","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-68-68-360.4"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
