Stat. tit. 68, § 68-3622","heading":"Legislative intent","body":"The Legislature hereby finds that the production of films in\n\nOklahoma not only provides jobs for Oklahomans and dollars for\n\nOklahoma businesses, but also enhances the state’s image nationwide.\n\nRecognizing that the high costs of film production are driving\n\nmotion picture and television production out of the country, most\n\nnotably to Canada, and that the film industry is always seeking\n\nattractive locations that can help cut the costs of production, the\n\nLegislature further finds that the State of Oklahoma, with the\n\nappropriate incentive, can become an attractive site for film\n\nproduction and that Oklahoma is presently among several states with\n\nminimal incentives to attract the film industry.
