Stat. tit. 68, § 68-407","heading":"Regulations - Punishment for prohibited practices or","body":"hindering inspection.\n\nIt shall be provided by regulations of the Tax Commission the\n\nmethods of breaking packages, forms and kinds of containers that\n\nshall be employed by persons subject to the tax levied by this\n\narticle which will make possible the enforcement of payment by\n\ninspection; and any such person engaging in or permitting such\n\npractices as are prohibited by this article, or in any other\n\npractice which makes it difficult to enforce the provisions of this\n\narticle by inspection, and any person or agent thereof who shall\n\nupon demand of any officer or agent of the Tax Commission refuse to\n\nallow full inspection of the premises or any part thereof, or who\n\nshall hinder or in anywise delay or prevent such inspection when\n\ndemand is made therefor, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall,\n\nupon conviction, be fined not more than Two Thousand Dollars\n\n($2,000.00) for each offense, or imprisonment in the county jail for\n\na period not exceeding sixty (60) days or both.","path":["OK Code","Title 68"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os68.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"829be40505b9da884673b2286d98d223940a884f629aefc565c2e8779d07c289","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-68-68-404","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-68-68-410"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
