Each wholesaler of tobacco products, as defined in Section\n\n400 of this title, shall maintain copies of invoices or equivalent\n\ndocumentation for each of its facilities for every transaction in\n\nwhich the wholesaler is the seller, purchaser, consignor, consignee\n\nor recipient of tobacco products. The invoices or documentation\n\nshall contain the wholesaler’s tobacco license number and the\n\nretailer’s tobacco license number if the sale is to a retailer and\n\nthe quantity by brand style of the tobacco products involved in the\n\ntransaction. Each wholesaler shall maintain the documents required\n\nby this subsection for a period of three (3) years.\n\nB. Each retailer of tobacco products, as defined in Section 400\n\nof this title, shall maintain copies of invoices or equivalent\n\ndocumentation for every transaction in which the retailer receives\n\nor purchases tobacco products at each of its facilities. The\n\ninvoices or documentation shall show the name, address and tobacco\n\nlicense number of the wholesaler from whom, or the address of\n\nanother facility of the same retailer from which, the tobacco\n\nproducts were received, the quantity of each brand style received in\n\nsuch transaction, the date the tobacco products were received and\n\nthe retail cigarette license number or sales tax license number.\n\nEach retailer shall maintain the documents required by this\n\nsubsection for a period of one (1) year.","path":["OK Code","Title 68"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os68.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"25b0d7f0194a44a51dcf5dbe8bea4f1f6e0eb3ba6754dbf92820cb66dbc2493b","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-68-68-420","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-68-68-4201"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
