Stat. tit. 68, § 68-4302","heading":"Legislative findings","body":"The Legislature finds that certain quality events conducted\n\nwithin the state have a significant economic impact. In order to\n\nassist with the promotion of such events and to assist the promoters\n\nand organizers of such events with the planning and performance of\n\nsuch events, the Legislature finds that it is in furtherance of an\n\nessential governmental function to provide a method by which an\n\neligible municipality or an eligible county may utilize a portion of\n\nthe state sales tax revenues derived from taxable transactions\n\noccurring within a designated area to promote certain qualifying\n\nevents.
