A county, city or town that enters into any contract,\n\nmemorandum of understanding or other agreement with a person or\n\nlawfully recognized business entity while the Oklahoma Quality\n\nEvents Incentive Act is in force and effect and in reliance upon the\n\nprovisions of the Oklahoma Quality Events Incentive Act shall\n\nreceive the payments provided by this act even if the Oklahoma\n\nQuality Events Incentive Act ceases to have the force and effect of\n\nlaw at any time subsequent to the execution of such contract,\n\nmemorandum of understanding or agreement, including any amendments\n\nto such documents if the amendments are incorporated and adopted\n\nwhile the Oklahoma Quality Events Incentive Act is in force and\n\neffect.\n\nB. Any person or lawfully recognized business entity that\n\nenters into a contract, memorandum of understanding or other\n\nagreement with another person or lawfully recognized business entity\n\nwhile the Oklahoma Quality Events Incentive Act is in force and\n\neffect and in reliance upon the provisions of the Oklahoma Quality\n\nEvents Incentive Act shall have the right to enforce the terms of\n\nsuch contract, memorandum of understanding or agreement with respect\n\nto any amount payable pursuant to the terms of the Oklahoma Quality\n\nEvents Incentive Act as of the date upon which such contract,\n\nmemorandum of understanding or agreement is executed, including any\n\namendments to such documents if the amendments are incorporated and\n\nadopted while the Oklahoma Quality Events Incentive Act is in force\n\nand effect.","path":["OK Code","Title 68"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os68.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"714de943aa2f75d8f9ca54a120a02d2f6c801421a5c628a56c597c48daac9ee1","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-68-68-4310","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-68-68-4401"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
