Stat. tit. 68, § 68-4403","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in this act:\n\n1. “Base Year” or “Lake Murray Designated Area Base Year” means\n\nthe amount of state sales tax revenue remitted by vendors located\n\nwithin the Lake Murray Designated Area during the fiscal year ending\n\nJune 30, 2007, or the amount of state sales tax revenue remitted by\n\nvendors as a result of sales taxable transactions occurring within\n\nthe Lake Murray Designated Area during the fiscal year ending June\n\n30, 2007, or the sum of both such amounts;\n\n2. “Incremental sales tax revenues” means the amount of sales\n\ntax revenue in excess of the amount of sales tax revenue collected\n\nwithin the Lake Murray Designated Area during the Base Year for\n\npurposes of the computation required by subsection A of Section 10\n\nof this act;\n\n3. “Lake Murray Designated Area” means the area of land\n\nbordered on the north by State Highway 70, on the east by the\n\neastern side of Townships 5 and 6 South, Range 2 East, on the south\n\nby the southern side of Township 6 South, Range 2 East and on the\n\nwest by Interstate 35;\n\n4. “State sales tax revenue” means a portion of the proceeds\n\nfrom the state sales tax levy imposed pursuant to Section 1354 of\n\nTitle 68 of the Oklahoma Statutes upon taxable transactions\n\noccurring within the Lake Murray Designated Area; and\n\n5. “Vendors” means those persons or business entities making\n\ntaxable sales of tangible personal property or services within the\n\nLake Murray Designated Area or which are required to remit sales tax\n\nbased upon transactions occurring within the Lake Murray Designated\n\nArea and unless the context otherwise requires shall have the same\n\nmeaning as defined by Section 1352 of Title 68 of the Oklahoma\n\nStatutes.","path":["OK Code","Title 68"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os68.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"bbd7f5e440e4fd4befafd807bc79e93be3c466cfadee289b7f190ba5aef6f103","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-68-68-4402","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-68-68-4404"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
