Each application for a license under this act shall be made\n\nupon a form prepared and furnished by the Commission. It shall be\n\nsubscribed to by the applicant and shall contain the information as\n\nthe Commission may reasonably require for the administration of this\n\nact, including the applicant's federal identification number and,\n\nwith respect to the applicant for an exporter's license, a copy of\n\nthe applicant's license to purchase or handle motor fuel tax free in\n\nthe specified destination state or states for which the export\n\nlicense is to be issued.\n\nB. The Commission shall investigate each applicant for a\n\nlicense under this act. No license shall be issued if the\n\nCommission determines that any one of the following exists:\n\n1. The application is not filed in good faith;\n\n2. The applicant is not the real party in interest;\n\n3. The license of the real party in interest has been revoked\n\nfor cause;\n\n4. Any good cause the Commission may determine;\n\n5. With respect to an exporter's license, the applicant is not\n\nlicensed in the intended specific state(s) of destination; or\n\n6. The applicant has a prior conviction for motor fuel tax\n\nevasion.\n\nC. Applicants, including corporate officers, partners, and\n\nindividuals, for a license issued by the Commission may be required\n\nto submit their fingerprints to the Commission at the time of\n\napplying. Officers of publicly held corporations and their\n\nsubsidiaries shall be exempt from this fingerprinting provision.\n\nPersons, other than applicants for an importer's license, who\n\npossessed licenses issued under a predecessor statute continuously\n\nfor three (3) years prior to the effective date of this act shall\n\nalso be exempt from this provision. Fingerprints required by this\n\nsection must be submitted on forms prescribed by the Commission.\n\nThe Commission may forward to the Federal Bureau of Investigation or\n\nany other agency for processing all fingerprints submitted by\n\nlicense applicants. The receiving agency shall issue its findings\n\nto the Commission.
