Stat. tit. 68, § 68-50011","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in the Oklahoma Tourism Promotion Act:\n\n1. \"Committee\" means the Oklahoma Tourism Promotion Advisory\n\nCommittee;\n\n2. \"Department\" means the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation\n\nDepartment; and\n\n3. \"Tourism promotion\" or \"promote Oklahoma tourism\" means and\n\nis limited to:\n\na. the cost of producing advertisements, placement of\n\nthose advertisements with the media (newspapers,\n\nmagazines, radio, television, billboard, direct mail,\n\nand the Internet) and the production and printing of\n\ncollateral materials designed specifically to support\n\nand fulfill information requests generated by the\n\nmedia advertising campaigns, and the production,\n\nprinting and distribution of brochures and promotions\n\nfor regional, national and international tourism\n\nconferences. Tourism promotion shall also include\n\nfestivals, sites and events concerning ethnic history\n\nand ethnic events which have occurred or are occurring\n\nin this state. For purposes of this paragraph,\n\n\"ethnic\" means of or relating to races or large groups\n\nof people classed according to common traits or\n\ncustoms, and\n\nb. the cost of providing a computerized consumer-oriented\n\ntraveler response information program. Such program\n\nshall include a comprehensive state data base\n\ncontaining up-to-date information on state travel\n\nattractions and facilities, including but not limited\n\nto, lodging facilities, restaurants, chambers of\n\ncommerce, convention and visitors bureaus, golf\n\ncourses, campgrounds, events, regional tourism\n\norganizations and all other attractions.
