There is hereby created an Oklahoma Tourism Promotion\n\nAdvisory Committee which shall advise the Oklahoma Tourism and\n\nRecreation Department on matters of statewide tourism promotion.\n\nThe Committee shall consist of thirteen (13) members and one ex\n\nofficio nonvoting member as follows:\n\n1. Chair of the Senate Tourism Committee, or designee;\n\n2. Chair of the House of Representatives Tourism and Recreation\n\nCommittee, or designee;\n\n3. President of the Oklahoma Travel Industry Association, or\n\ndesignee;\n\n4. President of the Oklahoma Lakes and Countries Association,\n\nor designee;\n\n5. Member of the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Commission,\n\nselected by the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Commission, whose\n\noccupation shall be in the tourism industry;\n\n6. President of the Oklahoma Hotel/Motel Association, or\n\ndesignee;\n\n7. President of the Oklahoma Restaurant Association, or\n\ndesignee;\n\n8. Representative of the City Convention and Tourism Bureau or\n\na representative of a municipal chamber of commerce, appointed by\n\nthe Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Commission;\n\n9. Director of the Oklahoma Arts Council, or designee;\n\n10. Representative of the tour operator or travel agent sector,\n\nappointed by the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Commission;\n\n11. Representative of the transportation sector, including but\n\nnot limited to, airlines, bus companies, car rental business,\n\nappointed by the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Commission;\n\n12. Executive Director of the Oklahoma Historical Society, or\n\ndesignee; and\n\n13. Director of the Native American Cultural and Educational\n\nAuthority, or designee.\n\nThe Director of the Travel Promotion Division of the Oklahoma\n\nTourism and Recreation Department, or designee, shall serve as the\n\nex officio nonvoting member.\n\nB. The initial appointed members shall be appointed on or\n\nbefore January 1, 1988. The term of office of each appointed member\n\nshall be for one (1) year and end on December 31 of each year, but\n\nall members shall hold office until their successors are appointed.\n\nC. The membership shall annually elect a chair and vice-chair\n\nof the Committee, each of whom shall serve for a term of one (1)\n\nfiscal year and until their successor is elected, and who shall\n\nperform such duties as the Committee directs.\n\nD. The members of the Committee shall receive no compensation\n\nfor their services or reimbursements for any expenses incurred.\n\nE.
