Stat. tit. 68, § 68-50016","heading":"Master capital improvement plan - Submission of project","body":"list to Legislature.\n\nThe Department of Tourism and Recreation shall develop,\n\nperiodically revise and maintain a comprehensive state master\n\ncapital improvement plan for state park and recreation facilities\n\nunder its jurisdiction, and shall prioritize projects within the\n\nplan. Prior to the expenditure of funds in the Oklahoma Tourism\n\nCapital Improvement Revolving Fund, the Department shall identify\n\nand list the specific projects for which such funds will be used,\n\nwhich shall be taken from the state master plan in the order of\n\npriority. If the Department determines that an emergency exists\n\nwhich could adversely affect the public peace, health and safety, it\n\nmay identify and list a project not taken from the state master plan\n\nin the order of priority. In such instance, the Department shall\n\ninclude a determination of the existence of such emergency and a\n\njustification therefor.\n\nThe list of such projects shall be submitted to the President\n\nPro Tempore of the Oklahoma State Senate and the Speaker of the\n\nOklahoma House of Representatives. The Legislature may, within\n\nthirty (30) legislative days after submission of the list, in a bill\n\nor joint resolution approved by a vote of not fewer than two-thirds\n\n(2/3) of the members in each house thereof, disapprove one or more\n\nprojects on the list and direct the Department to revise and\n\nresubmit the list as provided herein.","path":["OK Code","Title 68"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os68.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"fb47f073745104bc53af8216296e22be91bf52d693934e8b6100f3c2286aee13","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-68-68-50015","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-68-68-5006.1"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
