Stat. tit. 68, § 68-608","heading":"Display of license - Operating vehicle without license -","body":"Penalties - Venue.\n\n(a) Every person operating a motor vehicle on the highways of\n\nthis state as a Motor Fuel/Diesel Fuel Importer for Use must at all\n\ntimes during such operation have displayed in the cab of such motor\n\nvehicle, a copy of the Motor Fuel/Diesel Fuel Importer for Use\n\nLicense which shall be subject to inspection at all times by\n\nrepresentatives of the Corporation Commission.\n\n(b) Any person operating a motor vehicle on the highways of this\n\nstate, the operation of which is subject to the tax levied by this\n\narticle, without having obtained a Motor Fuel/Diesel Fuel Importer\n\nfor Use License as required by Section 607 of this title, shall be\n\nguilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, punished by a fine of\n\nnot more than One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00), or by imprisonment\n\nin the county jail for a period not exceeding one (1) year or both.\n\nThe venue for prosecutions arising under this section shall be in\n\nthe district court of any county in which such vehicle is being\n\noperated.","path":["OK Code","Title 68"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os68.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"9ce8ea10dac7687d8a11cc96a012907c03148080e6e017ad4db56e00f98d7d93","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-68-68-607.1","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-68-68-609"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
