Stat. tit. 69, § 69-1257","heading":"Violations - Penalties","body":"From and after the effective date of this act, it shall be\n\nunlawful for any person, firm or corporation to construct or\n\nestablish any facility which would be in violation of the terms of\n\nthis act and such would be a public nuisance, and provided further,\n\nthat if any such person, firm or corporation did so establish such a\n\nfacility in violation hereof, no state or federal funds would be\n\nused in any manner for the purpose of screening, moving or removing\n\nsaid nuisance. When the Department shall determine that any\n\njunkyard or scrap metal processing facility is not fenced or\n\nscreened as required by this act, the person, firm or corporation\n\noperating the junkyard or scrap metal processing facility shall be\n\nnotified of such violation and the manner in which compliance with\n\nthis act is required. Such notice shall be in writing and require\n\nthe person, firm or corporation operating the junkyard or scrap\n\nmetal processing facility to comply with the provisions of this act\n\nwithin ninety (90) days from the date of such notice. Any person,\n\nfirm or corporation failing to comply with the provisions of this\n\nact after the expiration of ninety (90) days from the date of such\n\nnotice or the extension of such time authorized by the Department\n\nshall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall\n\nbe fined Ten Dollars ($10.00) for each day such violation continues\n\nafter the expiration of the ninety-day notice or extension thereof.","path":["OK Code","Title 69"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os69.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"92eb5128ef98a45d7a51d14bcd605bc25f3504d2caaf361945b5d53b7a9fa30a","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-69-69-1256","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-69-69-1258"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
