Stat. tit. 69, § 69-1301","heading":"Application of article to state and certain cities and","body":"counties.\n\nThe provisions of this article, except those provisions\n\nauthorizing the use of special assessments, shall extend to the\n\nState of Oklahoma through the Commission, and to every city in this\n\nstate having a population of two thousand (2,000) or more, according\n\nto the last preceding Federal Decennial Census, whether such city is\n\nor shall hereafter be operating under a charter form of government\n\nor under general law. The provisions of this article authorizing\n\nthe use of special assessments shall extend to very county of the\n\nstate having a population of forty-two thousand (42,000) or more, in\n\nwhich there is located a city having a population in excess of\n\ntwenty-seven thousand (27,000) as shown by the last preceding\n\nFederal Decennial Census, and the provisions of this article\n\nauthorizing the use of special assessments shall extend to every\n\ncity in this state having a population in excess of twenty-seven\n\nthousand (27,000) as shown by the last preceding Federal Decennial\n\nCensus.","path":["OK Code","Title 69"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os69.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"f98ac77374534b8d681eb0e5739f791271cae886610460e5debedc31bd0e4841","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-69-69-1288","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-69-69-1302"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
