Stat. tit. 69, § 69-1304","heading":"Cost of limited access facilities","body":"(a) The governing body of a city or the board of county\n\ncommissioners of a county, to the extent that such governing body or\n\nboard of county commissioners shall determine that any benefit\n\nresults to any property served by the limited access facility, shall\n\nhave authority to:\n\n(1) Assess the amount of the benefits against such property so\n\nserved or benefited by the limited access facility;\n\n(2) Create street improvement districts to the extent of such\n\nbenefits and assess against such property benefited that portion of\n\nthe cost of acquisition and construction of such limited access\n\nfacility in the manner provided by this article.\n\n(b) In the event the governing body of the city or the board of\n\ncounty commissioners shall find that such limited access facility\n\ndoes not benefit the property served by it, or that the benefits to\n\nsuch property do not equal the cost of acquisition or construction,\n\nor both, of such limited access facility, the city or county may pay\n\nthe cost of such limited access facility in its entirety, or the\n\namount in excess of the benefits assessed as herein provided, out of\n\nthe proceeds of bonds to be issued for such acquisition or\n\nconstruction, or both.\n\n(c) The city or county shall have authority to submit to the\n\nvoters thereof the question of whether or not the city or county\n\nshall become indebted for the acquisition or construction of the\n\nlimited access facility, and any and all bond issues for such\n\npurposes are hereby authorized to the same extent and in the same\n\nmanner and with such limitations as is authorized by the\n\nConstitution for the creation of a debt in excess of the income and\n\nrevenue provided for the year.","path":["OK Code","Title 69"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os69.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"85193395cd5c44ae6ab91c57c193667ddbe61b7a53d6f3ed863192d882df5619","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-69-69-1303","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-69-69-1305"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
