Stat. tit. 69, § 69-1306","heading":"Engineering","body":"(a) The governing body of the city or the board of county\n\ncommissioners shall have authority to contract for the services of\n\nconsulting engineers to make the necessary surveys, plats, plans,\n\nprofiles, specifications, estimates, furnish construction stakes and\n\nsupervise construction at a cost not to exceed six percent (6%) of\n\nthe total cost of construction, exclusive of acquisition, and shall\n\nprovide for the payment of such engineering services as a part of\n\nthe cost of the limited access facility.\n\n(b) The engineers may also be employed to supervise and\n\ncoordinate all nonconstruction work necessary to each project, such\n\nas advertising, printing, typing, appraising, assistance in the\n\npreparation of the appraisers' report, abstract work, all procedure,\n\nclerical work, acquisition of right-of-way and all other work which\n\nis necessary or essential to the completing of such limited access\n\nfacility.\n\n(c) The city or county may cause the engineering and other work\n\nprovided for herein to be performed by the city or county engineer\n\nand may cause the cost thereof to be included in the cost of that\n\npart of the work financed by special assessments, on the same basis\n\nas herein provided, for consulting engineers.\n\n(d) The term \"engineer\" shall include the city engineer, county\n\nengineer, or the consulting engineer, as the case may be.","path":["OK Code","Title 69"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os69.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"68e5ade9833c5efc79863f9f6b985754bd34a25a70121a2d59582259f48d90bf","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-69-69-1305","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-69-69-1307"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
